This text was written for the newsletter of the London based International Artist Managers’ Association (IAMA) in summer 2015.
It explains in a nutshell why innovation of the orchestral sector is necessary. It shows that traditional models of an orchestra will not help to solve the issues that trouble many orchestras today. It tries to encourage artists’ managers to embrace their role as innovators of the sector.
